I just scrolled through CNN's picture gallery of the inauguration. Maybe a few hundred people there in total. The entire national mall was filled with flags. The roads were filled with military and police pulling security. I'm pretty sure more people came to watch Trump leave DC than watch Biden swear in.

His lack of support and irrational fear of the general public has officially lead to the saddest turnout I've seen for any president in my lifetime.
