My Dad was a parts manger at a local Chevy dealership in the '60's-'80's. I was his default parts truck driver, when his real driver was sick, or quit. It was a blast. Sad to see these companies jumping on the "woke" boat. Screw them.
I met her when a small group of us were challenging our county over a "Mega-Site" being developed with no citizen input. The property was being bought by our Economic Development Administration, and they wouldn't share anything with us. She was the only state official that helped us. She introduced state legislation to place EDA's under closer scrutiny, but it was defeated in committee. I like her, and will vote for her at the convention. She is the leading republican at the moment. That being said, she'll have a fight with the VRC, and if winning there, the democratic machine from northern Virginia.
As people become less fearful of this bullshit, they have to invent new ways to scare them into compliance. Absolute bullshit. I haven't trusted them since "two weeks to flatten..." and I damn sure won't trust them now.
I had some friends that were county cops in the '70's and '80's. They used common sense as much as they used "official training". They told me many times they wouldn't write a ticket because the guy needed a break. They were good guys.
I love,(please insert sarcasm here), the Jeep, "freedom" commercials. Especially after they showed up in force at the Ziden rally.
