If every man, woman, and child were to receive an equal share of that $900 billion, we would each receive $2742.23. Obviously, this would be much higher if only those affected monetarily by COVID were recomendated.

Because the fake news calling it for Biden will push the left's agenda that Trump is trying to steal the election and undermine "democracy" (still a republic, idiots), despite them doing exactly that. They are furthering their narrative that has been in the works since 2016.
