I'm trying to remain strong as well as go with the flow in my life. I've dealt with enough stress that I want things to be as calm as an adult life can be. I'm not super surprised by that one of my good friends in Indiana his wife is liberal as hell and even got him to vote for Biden 🤮
I completely agree! But honestly part of the reason why people have become so extreme is that communism was never really defeated It just went dormant and the infection went into Hollywood continued. Most of the anti-war/demilitarization campaigns that the hippies took on was a result of KGB operations. There are ways to keep the government in check without weakening the nation as a whole but useless idiots are too dumb to realize that and just go along with it thinking they have the moral high ground. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I am able to find someone. A friend of mine from childhood up through high school found a conservative husband of course he was twice her age haha not that I feel there's anything wrong with that but perhaps I should try that route
That's not a bad idea and something I've been trying to do but most of the conservative / Trump dating sites / apps seem to not be very good and honestly I even get afraid sometimes putting myself out there publicly as a conservative with how insane liberals are
I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband! Cancer is such a terrible thing I'm glad you had the time that you did and that you have a daughter, I'm sure it's difficult to not have him stay strong! Although much younger it's a similar story to my grandfather. Shortly before he retired he developed cancer and passed away less than a year after my grandparents moved into the house I live in now. I lost my dad on his birthday in 2013 when I was 19 and then after taking care of my grandmother and her final years she passed away a few years ago.
I'm in a very lucky position and I do try to enjoy the little things and keep my life as stress-free as I can. But the drive for a partner always burns in the back of my head

I really appreciate that! I understand why he doesn't but I wish President Trump would come out to Washington State. Might be able to meet someone there! He did come to Washington State very early in his campaign in 2016 (I'm talking at the point where there were still around a hundred people showing up as he had only been campaigning for about two or three months. It was amazing to hear him speak. It was right around the time that I was realizing that I was not a liberal anymore because they were going too far with their insanity and taxation. I wanted to hear him for myself and I hopped in my car on a very rainy day and drove over an hour up to the northern part of the state to get there. You didn't even need tickets at that point
Thank you for the good advice! I spent far too much time hiding who I was and my opinions because of my mom and stepfather. I don't think it's too much to ask to find a cute conservative girl that will get stoned with me then sit on my face and maybe we can go to the shooting range afterwards.

I really like art as well as music and most things historical. I have a decent collection of old books and I also enjoy firearms and shooting. I'm outdoorsy and love to go camping and kayak. I'm also a bit of a gamer and cinephile.
I do need to be better about putting myself out there but I was taking care of my grandmother for several years and it made it very difficult to date and right now in Washington State all of the bars and restaurants are closed for in-person dining and with everyone living in fear you can't really easily walk up to a stranger
A fair point! I have kind of a weird relationship with God It's certainly strengthened in recent years but I've never been a big church person. A lot of that was implemented by the Romans it used to be Christians would get together in each other's homes, break bread pray and read from the Bible. But the Romans wanted people to keep coming to the temples and donating money
Well I don't know if you're familiar with parts of Seattle but I'm out on an area called West Seattle so it's not quite the heart of the city and there's a few conservatives around I just keep hoping I'll get lucky. If you can believe it about 80% of the counties in Washington state vote red it's only a couple of big ones that tip the scales. We've had mail in voting for about 30 years and conveniently this state went from bouncing back and forth between red and blue to always being blue.
The elections per state shouldn't be decided by population it should be by county. I'd love to wish for a Christmas miracle for that one but the Christmas miracle I'm wishing for right now is that the president invokes directive 51, his 2018 executive order, and the insurrection act to purge this country from the cancer that is infesting it

I suppose I've always known it but having the success of making the connection with a woman especially in this day and age just to have her turn out to be a liberal is demoralizing. Kind of took me out of denial and made me realize just how many liberal women there are.
