I joined t_d in spring of 2016 as well. I salute you air! I respect your opinion but politely disagree. I totally support 2A but I'm not a gun guy. It's never bothered me to scroll past gun posts and get to the meaty posts.
I think a lot of people are also on information overload. I know for me it's almost an obsession yet there is very little most of us can do. An occasional gun or Melania pic helps break the tension for some. It would be helpful if we could filter by tag or flair.

I read TDW and honestly it's hard to keep track of all the different things happening. I wish there was a site that tracked all the legal challenges taking place too.
In some places they illegally used the tainted voting machines to do the recount. I'm no legal expert but as I understand it, some legal issues cannot be presented until a recount is completed.
