At some point in the last year, I knew I was definitely going to vote for Trump after voting Libertarian for a long time. I don't bring it up or tell people much, just because I prefer not to hear the screeching and go though all the same NPC-logic with them over and over. It's so tiring and monotonous.
That's crazy. I grew up in a very left-lib family and I'm glad it gave me the perspective it did, but I have drifted much further to the right than them the last decade. I still consider myself liberal in the classic sense, but it's more right-libertarian. Any consenting adults should be able to marry each other. I just want prosperity, employment and freedom for everybody, and I still have to be discerning about how much I say in social situations or people will freak out and act like I'm a nazi just for not repeating all their NPC bullshit.
One of the only things I liked about Obama's presidency was marriage equality, but unfortunately, that just made the commies realize they needed more "poor victims" to use as an excuse to hate America all over again, and now we have the shit-show of Islam-fetishist BLM trans-worshippers burning down cities. My family eats it all up so they can pat themselves on the back for being "accepting" and recognizing their "privilege."
