Today is the last day for decisions according to the calender posted on their website.
Any family would be proud to have this guy as a father/husband.
As I understand the story, he ran into the school with a borrowed shotgun and evacuated his wife and child.
He was armed in a school that had an active shooter and left when his family was safe.
He protected his family, but failed the community. He's not a hero. Just a man who loves his family.
I always took "good guy with a gun" to mean "anyone who isn't a criminal".
A few hours away from here a potential mass shooter with a rifle was stopped by a female CCW holder. She wasn't a cop, but she was a "good guy"
It's a discussion worth having.
Coward is not a word I choose lightly, nor would I use "Hero" lightly.
Per the press briefing given today, no officers were on site at the time the shooter entered the building. The first officers arrived and entered approximately 4 minutes later. They arrived knowing, or at least having a general idea of, the situation.
They took fire, and retreated....and set a perimeter.
They left 10 year olds to die to save themselves.
Cowards. All of them.
I know which one you are referring to. It might the same guy, but this isn't the same video. My favorite part of the old video was a helicopter flying over and the guy yelling "I hope that's Trump going back to the White House!"
