Check the recent State Hearings. I have a feeling there are occurrences of that in each swing state. Look for information about the larger city/counties. I can't recall anything I've seen specifically.
Basically, tell your friend to sit down and listen to them all. If they actually give a fuck, it's worth the time to go back and listen to them all. These people are swearing at the risk of jail time.
Ask your friend if he's ever cared enough to do that about anything. Ask him to consider what that requires of someone. Then ask him why literally hundreds of people would be willing to swear before a court.
