I'm a little drunk and haven't been on here much since it all happened. I tried to keep my mouth shut over the past couple of months when I saw all the "doomer" accusations flying around. I had my suspicions of how it would all turn out, but I know any sort of attempt at presenting a worst case scenario "what if", let's be prepared sort of viewpoint would only be met with scorn and deports.
Among the many lessons we should all learn from this, I'll add this one. The next time you see someone saying "hold on, let's not get ahead of ourselves, the battle isn't over and it's not a sure thing" and you're about to ridicule them for being "low energy" or a "doomer"...shut you fuckling mouth and learn to take some wisdom from people with a little more wisdom and understanding of history than you. The "doomer" accusations were utter horse shit, and they still are. All you "trust the plan" types, and "if you won't swear on the blood of your unborn children that we are absolutely going to win everything no matter what, you might as well be a communist" types were a net detriment to our entire movement.
History is riddled with the corpses and failure of generals, emperors, kings, and empires that had everything going for them and should have won and thrived but were only defeated by their own hubris and overconfidence. I, and others, tried warning about this many times and were shot down every fucking time by overconfident zealots who said anything other than absolute surety that we were going to win was a sign of being a low energy cuck faggot.
Well, look how that turned out. Saying "hold on, we don't have this in the bag just yet, let's keep a level head a cool dispassionate mind and be pragmatic" was right all along (as it always is).
Look at the Left, how the atheist socialists and radical Mohammedan savages work hand in hand to destroy western civilization. They oppose each other on literally every issue, except for their zeal to destroy the West, and because they have that common goal, they have no problem working together until it's just those two groups left, each thinking at that point they'll be able to wipe out the other.
And then look at us. Fucking constantly sniping at each other, trying to throw out possible allies, trying to rid ourselves of all but the purest of the pure (and each little group has its own idea of what 'pure' even is). Half of you wouldn't be satisfied until there's nothing of the Right left except yourself and many 7 or 8 other people who are a million percent ideologically aligned with everything you think and believe, and everyone else has been cast out as a "doomer" and traitor. And that's why we keep fucking stumbling when it counts. No one knows how to turn their rifles on their own side quite like the Right does. We're better than anyone at that one thing; sending fire at our own side instead of downrange towards the Enemy. And don't pretend that Fox News and National Review and Heritage are the only ones guilty of it. There are plenty right here on TDW who have done it just as much. Someone is only 97% on our side instead of 10000000%? March em up the gallows.
Well, now we're going to see who is really with us when the Hard Tyranny sets in. When they really do start doing more than banning people from meaningless social media. Ya'll need to start learning to see things in terms of 'net positives vs. net negatives'. If something is a net positive, let it be. If it's Tim Pool or Cucker Tarlson or Mark Levine or someone here on TDW; ask yourself if overall, are they doing more good for us than damage to us, or more damage to the Enemy than help to the Enemy, and if they are, shut your fucking mouth and let them do their thing. We don't need a tiny group of Robespierre's who consider literally everyone who is not completely in line with them on every little thing to be a traitor who gets the rope. We need overall net damage to the Leftist Enemy, even if you happen to think that they're a cuck or a faggot. Is their rifle pointed down range at the Enemy? Yes? Then point yours down range too and stop trying to snipe your own team for zealot points.
With all the shit all of the major tech companies are doing, and how much they're doubling down, let's come up with a "must have on your shelf just in case" book recommendation list. Not just or even predominantly contemporary political commentary books. As great as many of those are, picture this list as something you'd want to be able to raise children reading in 20 years if the internet ceased to exist. So not just politics, or timeless classics. Let's get books on basic engineering or home farming, practical stuff too. You're stuck in a cabin for 20 years with no internet and you have to raise some kids with nothing but what's on your book case. So what should go on it?

My apartment complex just gave me a notice to take down my American flag I have displayed inside my apartment behind my sliding glass patio door which is visible from the outside. I'm trying to find if there are any laws in Texas or in US Code that say they can't tell me to take it down. I found a "Freedom to Display the American Flag Act of 2005" which says:
A condominium association, cooperative association, or residential real estate management association may not adopt or enforce any policy, or enter into any agreement, that would restrict or prevent a member of the association from displaying the flag of the United States on residential property within the association with respect to which such member has a separate ownership interest or a right to exclusive possession or use.
Do apartment complex management companies fall under any of those mentioned groups? Are there any laws that you know of in Texas or that would apply in Texas that I could bring to them to show that they can't make me take my flag down?
They know how to organize and they're not afraid to do it. When they need 300 people on the ground in some city with a day's notice, they get it done. And not pantywaists who only want to wave flags and holds signs or drive around shouting and blaring their horns. They have hundreds on call who are ready to kick ass (well, helpless unarmed unsuspecting ass, but the will is there), break shit, burn shit, and get arrested for the cause. They have a legion of foot soldiers ready to go the extra mile for communism, even risking their freedom and livelihood. They don't say "I'd love to, but....." They do it.
They play the long game. One of the reasons they're so confident about showing up to burn, loot, and murder is that they played the long game and spend over seventy years infiltrating every last city council, mayorship, district attorney, attorney general, state prosecutor's office, all the way up to the FBI, NSA, CIA, and DOJ. They were willing to take the L in the sixties, regroup, bide their time, and work their way into become teachers, county clerks, professors, city comptrollers and managers, assistant special agents in charge, deputy director of whatever, special assistant to the whatever positions. They knew they had a losing play in the sixties, so they pulled back, decided where they needed to go, and spent several generations brainwashing and lying their ways into positions of leadership not just in teaching, but in the teaching schools to brainwash new teachers, not just the DA offices, but law schools for the next generation of DAs, not just the FBI, but into the universities that teach the next generation of FBI agents. They planted trees under which socialist shade they knew they would never rest. They left that to the next generation, and the next after that. And it paid off.
They don't wring their hands and fret about regarding tactics. They go with what works, no matter how it looks. If it looks good, all the better. But if it looks bad in the media, but still earns a long term win, they'll do it. Cancel someone? Sure. Lie and slander? Hell yeah. Doxx some random family and their kids? Fuck them for not being socialists. Cave someone's head in with a brick? Sure, their comrades in the DA's office will let them go. They don't bitch and moan about optics and alienating the normie middle. They don't look down and mumble about how "it's not their fight". Their companies are on board. Their organization are down for the fight. Their operatives are willing to go the distance. They don't say "I'm just here to sell coffee/shoes/tickets/games/subscriptions, this isn't my fight. I just want to sell my product and be left out of it". They get all their pieces on the board and each one knows it's their job to do what it takes to win, whether it's selling coffee to win, or beating in skulls with skateboards to win. Ever piece on their side is willing to go as far as it takes to get the win. They don't hide behind "Well, I might agree, but we're just a coffee company, leave us out of it". They all fight.
They knew that messaging matters, and that most people will swallow whatever is forced into their mouths as long as they shove the spoon in front of them enough. While we were disconnecting from movies, games, TV, news, they were gobbling up those spots. Those divisions were playing the long game too. Don't preach communism, just preach that going after communists full bore is too harsh and we're all Americans even if we have different ideas. Don't start out saying white Christian men are evil, just say that other cultures have something else valuable to offer. Work your way up to the real message. First undermine what they believe to be true, then replace it with what you want them to believe. Captain Planet is cool and fun and everyone wants to save the poor turtles with plastic around their heads. Nevermind that we're painting business owners as the devil. MacGyver doesn't use guns because he doesn't need them, nevermind that it's because guns are evil. So what if you dad and mom try to teach you Western values for a few minutes a day. We've got you for hours every night and Saturday morning. It'll pay off in a decade.
There's a lot to admire about the Left. We wouldn't be one SCOTUS case and a few county election boards away from fucking losing our nation barring outright armed civil war if they hadn't been successful. They know how to fight. They're fighting for all the wrong things for all the wrong reasons, but damn if they don't know how to get it done when and where it counts. Even now, we have cowards and pantywaists saying "just let them sell their coffee, it's not their fight" on our own fucking side. The Left never faces that problem. For them when it's all hands on deck to fight an enemy, they fucking get out there and do it. We have so much skill, experience, fighting knowledge, principle, ideals, facts, evidence, and integrity on our side. If we had a tenth of the forethought and willingness to play the long game and get it done no matter the personal cost, we'd never be where we are right now. Trump doesn't worry about personal cost. Trump doesn't worry about whether it's his fight. Trump doesn't worry about what people will say. But we do. We fret and wring our hands about our jobs and who will pay the bills and what will people say and optics and just left the Left work their 70 year plan almost entirely unopposed. We got one solid player when we're 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter and the left is 7yds from our endzone. That's Trump. We should have never let it get this far, but we did. For all we talk about how the Left has no balls and can't figure out what bathroom to use, they sure as fuck have balls where it counts. They're 98% finished with their 70 year plan to take over, and some of us, only some of us, just figured out that we're even supposed to fight back like this year.
I hate them. I want them dead and gone and their worldview wiped off the face of the earth forever. But damn if there isn't quite a bit to admire about their strategy and willingness to fight for their evilness no matter what.
Twitter is pure trash. Every few minutes I see a new "Soandso DESTROYED $communist on Twitter!" and "$DipshitDemocrat just got NUKED FROM ORBIT". And it's just arguments on Twitter. I think the whole thing is designed to make us feel like we're winning real battles when we're just watching people yell at each other. We get the emotional catharsis of feeling like something was achieved and a victory was won, and we stay distracted hyping the latest pissing match on some website instead of focusing on actually doing something of substance. It's a distraction meant to make you stop thinking about real results and real actions and focus on what amounts to a pretend battle that doesn't mean anything. Like watching a stage play of a battle you can cheer for while the real battle is going on behind you when you're not watching. And I think too many of us fall for it.
Someone typed a mean sentence into a phone. That's what actually happened. No one got "NUKED FROM ORBIT". No one got "DESTROYED". Someone typed a sentence. Yes, it's nearly always deserved. The dipshit communists deserve to be mocked and ridiculed and have their lies exposed. The barbs and jabs those on our side send at them are well earned. But it's still just an argument of words being held behind a screen. It's not a real battle. And the more we get hyped up and cheer for it and let off our emotional steam and anger by cheering when our side types some scathing words about the other side, it tickles that "we just won something" sensation in your brain, one that in times past would have only been satisfied by actually beating them in real life. You're settling for feeling fulfilled and accomplished by reading mean words. Your anger at the Left and communism deserve more than cheap catharsis from reading about mean words. It deserves actual satisfaction in real life by actually destroying them, not cheering when someone throws a clever verbal jab. Stop paying attention to the pretend battle on the stage of your phone screen. It's tricking you into thinking something worthwhile got accomplished. Twitter is pure trash and you shouldn't be using it.
For longer than any of us have been alive, we've referred to new virus strains by the place they originated from or where they were found. I call it the Wuhan virus, just as I might refer to the Ebola virus. The Chinese virus also fits perfectly. Only bitches say Covid-19. Who's still with me on this after all this time?
I think we've all been seeing a significant upswing in the amount of brand new accounts that immediately start spamming threads, whether they're malware and redirect link, links to Stormfront-eqsue sites, salty shitposts from commies, and likely sock puppet accounts that are trying to build a post history for later use.
What does TDW in general feel about maybe instituting something like a 100pt minimum for making new threads so that n00bs at least have to put some effort into demonstrating they're pedes before they can start spamming links and threads?
No, not really. But that's the mindset you need to have. The high energy confidence is fine, but we've only got a few days left. In the next couple of days, a lot of people are going to have to decide not who to vote for, but whether or not to vote. Yes, even people here are going to be getting off work at 5pm on Tuesday, stuck in traffic, the wife is at home making dinner and watching the kids, you have a headache from work, you're not sure if there's going to be a long line at a polling place, and a dozen other factors that make it so you really just want to go home and wind down. Maybe you live in a red state and you're already pretty sure your state is going for Trump.
Take that feeling, stuff it in a box, wrap some chains around it, and shove it as far back in your mind as possible. Trump and Biden are a few dozen votes away from each other in your district. Your vote specifically could be the one that decides everything. Take all the celebratory confidence and enthusiasm and certainty of victory and set it aside for a few more days. Have your victory cigar and whiskey on hand, but don't crack it open or light up just yet. We're all relying on you. Even if you live in the middle of Nowhere Oklahoma, your vote counts. There is no valid excuse to not get out there and vote. If you end Tuesday night on the couch saying "C'mon, I've done my part, I've posted memes, I've redpilled some people on Facebook, I've worn a MAGA hat while grocery shopping. What's one less vote really? Mine isn't really needed, and I'm tired and worn out" then you've let yourself, your family, and your country down, and you should be ashamed and disgraced. Your vote is needed. Tell yourself that Biden could easily win if you don't get out there. Tell yourself that when the court cases start, and the injunctions and stays and petitions start flowing, that it will be your vote that makes it that much more certain that Trump was the real winner.
When the election is truly done and called and Trump's inauguration is on its way, then you can think about cracking that whiskey and lighting that victory cigar. Not a moment sooner. The fight is still on. We haven't won yet. And every one of us matters. There is no valid excuse to sit this out and think it doesn't matter because we've already won. Get your head in the game, convince yourself that Biden is 1 vote away from victory, and you will be that 1 vote that stops him. Bottle up that confidence and celebratory bravado for after the enemy is defeated at your feet.
If you read this headline and bristled thinking "who is this low energy doomer saying Biden has a chance?" you need to readjust your attitude. The reaction you should be having is "oh shit, he's right. I need to get the fuck out there and stop Biden".
I know a lot of people here are Christian and view abortion as murder. I'm not a Christian, though I do understand that by every method we have of distinguishing one human from another, a preborn baby is a separate person, so killing it would indeed be murder. I'm not "'pro-choice".
But we need to have our eyes open on all things, not just looking at the things we like and want while blind to the negative aspects so we're shocked and caught off guard when negative consequences hit us in the face.
If abortion were never legalized, the fact is the murder, rape, assault, robbery, and burglary rates in the United States would be double what they are now. Then there's all the additional people who would be on welfare, WIC, in Section 8 housing, and the 50,000 other handout programs each of us are being robbed every week to pay for. It's no secret the US is already terminally ill in a financial sense, we owe more money than we'll ever be able to pay back and no amount of stimulus or even private sector growth can change that. Trump is staving off the worst effects and giving us all a great second chance to prepare for what's coming, but it's still coming. It just might be 10-20 years away now instead of 4 or 5. It would have already been here if we had 60 million additional people, a huge portion of them consuming and not producing, and a huge portion of those out raping, murdering, and robbing the rest of us.
If abortion become illegal again, those things are going to happen. Now you need to break yourself out of the natural kneejerk reaction of "if he's saying B, it must mean he is against A!" that I'm sure some are already having. I'm not arguing for or against abortion, for or again Roe v. Wade, or making a statement about the morality of it. I'm pointing out only one thing. If it had already been illegal, we would have faced an astronomical amount of extra crime and financial hardship by now, and if it does indeed become illegal again, eventually we will. It's going to happen. I hope you're preparing for that fact while you celebrate ACBs confirmation.
I think ACB is a pretty decent choice, and I'm hoping she helps crack down on voter fraud, attacks on the Second Amendment, ends birthright citizenship, ends tyrannical lockdowns and abuses of power by various governments, and a number of other things. But I'm just not super thrilled about the whole abortion thing. I know is is immoral, but sometimes in life taking the moral route, doing the Right Thing, means taking the harder path. If abortion is again made illegal, we will all be taking a much harder path. One with a hell of a lot more murder, rape, assault, robbery, and with a lot less money in our pockets to use to protect ourselves from all of those things. Celebrate, but be aware of the side effect that are going to happen if we do the Right Thing, and be ready for them.
As for me, I'm going to get off work at 7am, and go vote in the morning, then go home and sleep. Wake up mid afternoon, stage my rifle, plate carrier, helmet and go back, then go grab a steak, some broccoli, and a potato and do some grilling in the later afternoon. I'll throw on Crowder or Daily Wire Backstage (Shapiro isn't terrible when he's with the whole group), have a moderate amount of vodka and a cigar, and watch livestreams the rest of the night. You need to steel your mind and find the sweet spot between overconfidence and "doomerism". Don't be caught off guard with a "how could this have happened??" reaction if things don't go the way you think.
This election will be decided in courtrooms. This is not a statement that you or anyone should not vote. Of course you fucking should. We all need to be out there in person voting on the 3rd and bring as many people as possible to do the same. Don't let anything stop you from voting. No "I'm tired, I just got off work, my wife is cooking dinner, I'm sure just once vote less won't be a big deal" quitter talk. There is no legitimate excuse not to vote. None. If you sit down on the couch on the evening of the 3rd having not voted and you're telling yourself and other some bullshit excuse about traffic jams and the kids needing to be picked up, you've failed yourself and you've failed America. And you should be ashamed eternally for that. You have 3 weeks to make fucking sure you and every eligible adult in your household gets out there and votes. Your excuse, any excuse, will not be good enough.
But keep in mind, the entire Democrat machine is working night and day to make your vote irrelevant. They didn't hire those 600 election lawyers for nothing. They have schemes piled on top of plans mixed in with treachery and fraud a mile thick. When you wake up in the morning on November 4th, and you're not greeted with "Trump declared the winner by a landslide" headlines, do not get caught off guard. Know what's coming. The Left has every intention of fighting the election long past the 3rd and they are not giving up no matter how many millions of votes we get. There is no amount of "my cousin who hasn't voted in 32 years is voting for Trump" stories that is going to make the Left just give up, pat us on the back and say "good show, better luck for us in 4 years I guess". It's not going to happen. Prepare yourself mentally for that and don't let your optimism cloud your judgement. Voting is Plan A. We need to have a Plan B, a Plan C, a Plan D, and on and on because you can bet your ass the Democrats do.
History is filled with the corpses of leaders and armies who lost a battle they should have won because they assumed victory before it was in hand. And no plan survives first contact with the enemy. Enjoy the parades and rallies and the fun atmosphere all you can and have a great time for sure. But set aside some time and mental energy to remind yourself that the enemy gets a vote too, in war and in actual voting. Prepare yourself for multiple outcomes, not just the outcome you want to happen. And not even just actual preparation like food, water, ammo, etc. Mental preparation. Seriously stop for a few minutes and think about how you're going to react and feel and think about waking up on the 4th and not seeing the outcome we all want set in stone and done with. Don't get caught off guard like Killery's team did last time because they were so damn confident they had it in the bag months before the election even happened that they didn't even bother cleaning up all the schemes and plots Hussein's FBI was neck deep in. They knew they were going to win. And then they didn't and they were so mentally traumatized by an outcome they never considered for even a second that they just broke inside and have thrown a tantrum ever since.
Don't make the same mistakes. Get the hell out there and vote like your life depends on it, because it probably does. But prepare your mind for the possibility that isn't enough to actually give us the outcome we want and that the fight will continue long after you might be expecting to be lighting victory cigars. Trump's gonna be fine, and we're gonna win. But with him getting the China virus, and the possibility that it was deliberately given to him by the Left, it got me thinking about a theoretical question. What actually happens if a candidate can't be elected for some reason? This was brought up not too long ago with Biden as well like if he had a stroke or something, or if the Democrats tried to replace him this late in the game. I remember reading something about how they can't because it's too late to reprint the ballots, or too late for another candidate to be listed in various states as an actual candidate for President. Like if they got rid of Biden now, would Cumala even be allowed to run? Yeah the Vice President takes over as the new President per the Constitution if the President dies, resigns, or is incapacitated somehow, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like that for candidates and their running mates. Political parties are after all private organizations with no Constitutional recognition. We think of it as "The Republicans running against the Democrats", but legally it's Donald Trump running against Joe Biden. The ballots have to list who is actually running, and I'm pretty sure there is a time frame where you have to put your name in the hat. Cumala Harris isn't running for President. Mike Pence isn't running for President. I'm pretty sure it's not a case of you just voting Republican and Mike Pence takes the spot since he's the next highest Republican. You're voting for Donald Trump, and if he's not a candidate anymore, what actually happens next?
So what actually does happen if for some reason, a few weeks before the election and long after the deadlines have passed, ballots have been printed, and everything is basically set in stone, one of the candidates is forced out of the race for one reason or another? What happens to all early voting or absentee votes that were already cast for a candidate that isn't running anymore? Do states have contingencies for last minute additions to the candidate pool? Are they even physically capable of reprinting a hundred million ballots in that time frame? Has something like that ever happened before?
Again, this isn't a blackpill "Trump's gonna die and we're gonna lose. The sky is falling" post. You could apply this question to any set of candidates in any election year. Once so many required steps have already happened and we're this close to an election, and one of the candidates is just gone and not running anymore for whatever reason, what happens next?
I know we don't want to be reddit and get worked up about useless internet points, and we don't want to push away new pedes, especially as every day it becomes more obvious the Left is insane and destructive and Joe Biden is a senile fool. But I'm not the only one who has noticed a pretty massive increase in the amount of spam bot accounts posting links to malware sites over the past week or two. We flew somewhat under the radar for a good while, but that seems to be over now, and we're the focus more more than just angry Leftists DDoSing us. Every single night there are multiple new accounts that get away with posting a dozen or so fake links with seemingly friendly thread titles like "This is why Biden will lose" but they're to malware sites or some other bullshit.
First, we need more options in the deport list, like a "Bot/Spam" option. And second what do we all think about maybe implementing a minimum comment karma limit before a user can post new threads? I know that's a very redditish gatekeeping move, but I'm not sure what else can be done, especially since it seems like we don't have any mods who are awake and online for several hours each night. I don't know who all the mods are or where you all live or whatever, but it seems like for about 4 or 5 hours each night there are no mods online and spam threads and comments are left up until the day shift mods wake up and check the mod queue. Is it maybe time to implement some more mitigation actions in light of the new attacks TDW is getting?
A man loses his job, which means a loss of income, and a loss of status and prestige. Three things that mean the world to the vast majority of modern women (I'd say all women but that's a topic for another time). The wife senses the husband has peaked and is on the down slope, show she plans to jump ship and swing to a higher branch. In comes the setup of claiming domestic violence complete with an arrest. The exact sort of thing she needs to make sure her divorce claim is in the bag, and she can clean him out and take him for all he's worth before discarding him like a husk so she can grab for a higher branch. It's a story that plays out thousands of times every week all over the country from trailer parks and ghetto projects to ritzy high rises and multi-million dollar mansions. Woman senses man is on a downward slope, cooks up an accusation to get the State to go after him for her while she pockets the cash and dips out for greener pastures. Over 85% of all divorces are filed by women, and this is a very common tactic.
We're going to hear about Brad's wife filing for divorce in the near future, and she'll be citing this "incident" as one of the reasons for it. And let's be real here. It's going to work, she is going to make bank off him, he's going to be proper fucked and left in the dust, and the world will move on around him because he's a white man and his worth is only that which he can do for others.
