It is not necessary that all men learn Koine Greek yet it is necessary that those whom are called to do so to provide aid to the community, offering defense and explanation. It is a personal advantage to all people to read it in the original text if they are willing and able to do so.
Reading the scriptures of the New Testament in their original form Koine Greek provides the best opportunity for interpretation.
Understanding the original words helps prevent improper inferences from the connotations of modern English words. It limits the scope of meaning in many cases. The original syntax also helps you to logically interpret the authors meaning as well, and helps provide the tools to aptly deconstruct misinterpretations based upon improper inferences. In other words, you can look at modern translations of various texts and possibly figure out why they translated it that way or why it’s possibly incorrect or ambiguous but not necessarily incorrect.
