"The gates of heaven are lightly locked,
We do not guard our gold,
Men may uproot where worlds begin,
      Or read the name of the nameless sin;
But if he fail or if he win
To no good man is told.

"The men of the East may spell the stars,
      And times and triumphs mark,
But the men signed of the cross of Christ
      Go gaily in the dark.

"The men of the East may search the scrolls
      For sure fates and fame,
But the men that drink the blood of God
      Go singing to their shame.

"The wise men know what wicked things
      Are written on the sky,
They trim sad lamps, they touch sad strings,
      Hearing the heavy purple wings,
      Where the forgotten seraph kings
Still plot how God shall die.

"The wise men know all evil things
      Under the twisted trees,
Where the perverse in pleasure pine
And men are weary of green wine
      And sick of crimson seas.

"But you and all the kind of Christ
      Are ignorant and brave,
And you have wars you hardly win
      And souls you hardly save.

"I tell you naught for your comfort,
      Yea, naught for your desire,
Save that the sky grows darker yet
      And the sea rises higher.

"Night shall be thrice night over you,
      And heaven an iron cope.
Do you have joy without a cause,
      Yea, faith without a hope?"

Please be kind, I'm a very shy ladypede who is terrified of confrontation. This was a big step. My findings are that the impact of the NPC mask is likely minimal, and any effect it might have is completely nullified by having an adorable baby in tow. Comments on mask: 0. Comments on baby: 3.

[Sidebar- I love taking the baby out because he goes maskless with impunity and I think people love him not just because he's cute but because they're happy to just see a FACE. If this were such a deadly pandemic you'd think ONE person would chide me for bringing an infant out into this infected hellscape, but nobody ever has.]

Also worth noting is my "mask" was literally just a gray t-shirt sleeve big enough to fit over my head, with an NPC nose/mouth drawn on in Sharpie. I thought I might take heat for that, but NO, sleeve masks are A-OK.

I think my next attempt will be a mask with words on it, something that might spark conversation like "15 days to slow the spread." Ideas are welcome.

Then I'll try the overtly useless fishnet mask. Maskless venture will be Wal-Mart. I don't plan on buying anything anyway, so getting kicked out is no loss. 😎

She said "yes, because it can survive on surfaces." 😑

The restaurant owner who is having her life ruined while filmmakers set up their tents next door prompted this. You are a serf to them. They want you sad and alone, watching their unfunny, uninteresting, unoriginal soulless propaganda instead of having real human interactions or learning anything of value. Take their power away. Stop watching.

If the unfolding real-life movie of the millennium isn’t enough to entertain you, here are some ways to occupy your mind without giving money to Hollywood, Disney, PedoFlix, Bezos etc.

Listen to Audio books:

Free audio Bibles in numerous versions and languages. The Bible is about 3 days of audio from Genesis to Revelation. That should keep you busy for awhile.

Free public domain audiobooks. Shakespeare, The Odyssey, writings of the Founders, Pilgrim’s Progress, G. K. Chesterton and much, much more. Get listening to the classics, Pedes.

Listen to/watch sermons and lectures:

Churches are all streaming their sermons now. There are more free sermons than you could ever listen to in one lifetime. Based John MacArthur has been preaching since 1969 and all his sermons are free online: https://www.gty.org

Find good lectures on world/Western/church history on YouTube. Use an Adblocker.

Other:

Make a point of supporting your favorite content creators on alternative platforms like BitChute and Rumble. Let them know you’re glad they post there. And hey, now that you've cancelled Disney+ and Netflix you can afford to join MugClub and support RSBN.

Still want to watch your favorite older movies? Buy them secondhand on DVD or BluRay. I’ll be making a trip to The Exchange to seek out “My Cousin Vinny” in the coming days. 😎 Thrift stores are a good place to find DVDs too.

Play boardgames. Boardgames are actually a booming industry with tons of independent creators. There are game themes and complexity levels for all ages and tastes. They're a great way to get friends and family to sit around a table and put away their phones. Stick it to the man by all touching the same cards and meeples while not wearing masks. The Dice Tower is a good place to find out what kinds of games you'd like. The channel's founder is a Christian and built the company from the ground up.

Add more suggestions below. Stop paying them to brainwash you. Start feeding your brain wholesome food.
