No-one really means it. I think they only say it because feminists continue to parade suffragettism around like it happened yesterday and still has relevance. You go vote and vote good, hell ldo it five times to make up for your lost time.l

If you're asking this cos you're a bit unsure about this place, you might be pleasantly surprised how increrdibly unsexist most people here are once you scratch the surface. Mustard and ham, please.

This close to it, I think she's downplaying to help him rather than seriously trying to back out. I'dlovetozeetrumpkillhim, but I think it might be a damp squib a la Biden palin.I don't think debates really matter in this election though. As long as trump is having fun and relaxed, that'll do me.

More than anything else, trump's greatest legacy has been to blow the credibility off all these pretend institutions for good. Just by being himself 😊

She's so useful to trump. She shores him up beautifully.

I disagree with the top comments, a lot of women were very restricted to express themselves about fifty years ago, as were men, and they shouldn't have just had to accept being happy playing bridge all their lives. I care about women's freedom to make whatever kind of life they want for themselves.

But that would have happened anyway without feminism, all feminism has done is oppress men, usher in the hypersensitive sjw era, and completely block the harmony of the sexes that should have come as a natural result of the technological advances allowing everyone to live their lives freely that was just about to occur anyway.

It was a bad solution to a real problem, and has only been continuing to throw good money after bad for the last three decades.

Wow. Thanks to you, (and captntrouble and covfefe). Worried now.

I'm aware of it and have been for a while, but at the same time I think there's a limit to what they can realistically do. Though I do prioritise playing video games I've always meant to get round to now, they're more easily tampered with. Books and movies will hopefully always be available.

Try not to let it worry you too much, they're not so much trying to ban these things as in stopping you, a free and clear eyed individual, not being able to watch them anymore as they are trying to limit the perceptions of their cult youth by making them feel ashamed to go looking for them.

This is probably related to them threatening to reveal Scott Alexander of slate star codex fame true identity last week. He's no Trump fan, but he writes about him sincerely in the article "you are still crying wolf" about leftist hysteria just before the last election. That was part of what got him in the crosshairs, and lots of his fans who are still nominal leftists have been cancelling.

Ps: I cannot recommend that article enough.

I'd love to know this too. So much potential here. Is this site a Donald special, or a reddit in the old days competitor? The first is great, the second would be heaven.

There's such an underestimation of how much humanity has changed in the last few hundred years. The Atlantic slave trade was one horror among dozens happening in the globe during the seventeenth century. It wasn't an expression of whites hating blacks, it was an expression of the total tribal warfare in existence at that point. It could just as easily have happened the other way round if blacks were in a position to do that. But that is all totally gone now. It's genuinely insane that slavery is a talking point right now and the irony is that the very thing that buried it, communication, is now the tool of the Twitter mobs.
