Good news indeed. Sorry for the rude comment earlier. Take it easy bro.

I live in Texas. Red. All of the major cities have locked down any "non-essential" activities, including parks, playgrounds, golf courses, and recreation centers. For a week until Governor Abbott specifically called it out, we weren't able to go to church under the threat of arrest. Glad things aren't bad in your area, but don't make the mistake of thinking that's how it is everywhere. Also, don't make the mistake of assuming what I do, or don't do, in my community.

Any violation of Civil Rights is going overboard. People like you (idiots willing to give away their rights because they're scared of the boogeyman) bother me. When you're no longer so naive you can tell people to harden up, and maybe they'll listen. Until then, the adults are talking, so shut the fuck up.

The President hasn't mandated a lockdown. Many local and state governments HAVE mandated lockdowns. You will be arrested if you do not comply. America doesn't mean Trump shill.

It's not voluntary when the police are involved shill. And it's not "very few states" It's all over the country.

Just put a circle around V for Vendetta.

So - just to be crystal here - you are asking why taking on debt while having zero income but still needing to pay bills, and possibly salaries, for a small business "until this thing blows over" isn't a good option for most small business owners? Holy fuck dude. If you can't figure that out on your own I don't think anyone here can help you.

Because this whole thing is complete and utter bullshit designed to screw our economy and leech away our civil liberties by invoking a worldwide panic under the shroud of extremely biased data and unverifiable "evidence."

Living in fear of the boogeyman virus while we have our rights stripped and our economy screwed because it "could" be worse. "Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin

This is the truth. That's why they're so easy to convince and control.

Bullshit. Mayor Ron Nirenberg in San Antonio did this too. AA meetings are still permissable. Celebrating Liturgy with the faithful could result in jail time. Let's. Be. Honest.

They don't want it to work because more power and money will come from the vaccine, not from the cure. Money ain't in the cure, the money's in the medicine.

I couldn't watch past the part when the bimbo interviewer couldn't figure out a way to agree with him because he hadn't actually said anything for 5 seconds. Cringe.

"It's beginning to look like most Americans (except those on reddit) have had enough of being told what to do."

I WISH this was the case. In San Antonio the entire city is cheering because we've been told to stay home. Get this - you can go to an AA meeting...but not to church.

It's your prerogative to stay home and isolate yourself because you don't want to catch the flu... Or a cold... Or the Corona virus. Forcing that on anyone, particularly through a government quarantine, is a violation of Constitutional rights. Fuck. Off.

Deep State trying so hard to convince us we're quarantined or should be. I saw a propaganda commercial with every celebrity they could muster today telling us all to stay home and stay safe. In other words, willingly destroy our economy.

The federal government CANNOT do this. It will be the greatest violation of our civil liberties in the history of our nation if they do. My city (San Antonio) and our limp noodle mayor and city council has already violated our right to assemble and has shut down all "non essential" businesses. If the Federal government follows suit, call time of death on America. You can't get those rights back. We need to be putting up more of a fight right now!!

Really good points. Women are spectacular at being everything men are not...it's why we love them. The problem comes when they try to be men.

RawJa777 2 points ago +3 / -1

Thank. You. I am livid at this bullshit. Our civil liberties and Constitutional rights are in the process of being fucking trampled as. we. speak.

So we're fully entering V for Vendetta territory if the democrats force a quarantine. That shit is a violation of Rights. The government should not have the ability to force people to stay in their homes. How is this shit even being considered??
