Property tax was sold to the people as a check on excessive wealth. There is an argument for that. But everyone should have at least a primary residence they own. A refuge from government.

Address the issue of ownership or lack of in this scenario. If anyone can make a claim against your property for lack of payment, it is not your property. Real property is THE only thing of true value in the world. Nearly all other things are abstract, transient or have the same vulnerabilities that real estate has now.

I’ve done the research and you prove my point. Address the issue of ownership. The government always needs your money no matter the use. Parents with children in school should pay for the school. People who own or drive cars should pay for roads. The tax system in the country needs to be restructured to keep the system transparent and accountable. The people who use the service pay for it.

In the past the systems of segregation between the “quality” and the serfs was physical as well as psychological. Today those systems are psychological more than physical. If you control one’s mind there is no need to control one’s actions. The systems have power because we relinquish OUR power to them.
