For me I see Kennedy as an opponent, someone I can have an honest debatable political disagreement over.

If he for instance fairly won the election I won't see that as a fundamental threat to the future of this country like Biden. It'll be more like, "ah shucks, I gotta put up with some liberal bs for four years but we'll get them next time."

I went to an ivy league school and they're were plenty of hardcore conservatives there.

It seems when a student goes there and sees the radical liberalism that permeates that environment, they either jump in like a toddler in the deep end of the pool or they recoil in horror and turn even further to the right.

My family was old school southern blue dog democrat. Going up north was like a slap in the face, hell at the time northern republicans were more liberal then southern democrats. Maybe Edwards in louisiana is the only one of those left

Same as any individual. I'm not a socialist/tribalist like you so I don't quite understand where you're coming from. I only judge people as individuals based on the choices they make for themselves. Judging entire groups of people based on the color of their skin is the height of irrationality and shows a depraved or even total lack of morality.

Yeah no. I'm black, family has been here since before there was a United States and I can't go back to somewhere I never been. How about you go back to that socialist hellhole of Europe?

A polish man finds a magic lamp that has a genie.

Its the usual schtick, 3 wishes and all. So the man says to the genie, I want for a horde of mongolians to come to my country, kill and pillage, and go home.

The genie thinks this is odd, but obliges. The mongolians make it to the farmlands at the border, kill and pillage, then return home.

The man then, as his second wish, wishes for a horde of mongolians to come to poland to kill and pillage.

The genie, really not understanding this man at all, snaps his fingers, and then another horde comes, this time to the first town on polish land, kills and pillages, and then returns home.

The polish man, satisfied with his first two wishes, then says to the genie, "Genie, I wish for a horde of mongolians to come to poland to kill and pillage."

The genie, completely dumbstruck, complies. This time the horde reaches the first major city, kills and pillages, and then leaves to return home.

After this, the genie asks, why? why would you want a mongolian horde to come to your land three separate times to kill and pillage?

The pole responds, "If they came to poland three times, it means they went through russia 6."

I work in the rail industry. Freight companies just aren't doing regular maintenance anymore. They'd rather just do the minimum and keep record profits. As bad as these derailments are, paying for them is chump change compared to what maintenance costs. The FRA is useless as well.

I was just speaking with a coworker who got the jab because the company was about to fire us. I was ready to go but the company realized they were about to lose a fifth of their workforce so they caved.

Now she was just diagnosed with breast cancer :(

This.

When the average Joe looks at a poll they just look at the state totals. The campaigns (at the senate level) have a good idea where their supporters are bt precinct.

You forgot who's counting the votes. Walker isn't in the inner circle so he doesn't get a boost.

I actually like Ben, he's a smart guy who does a good job defending our side and despite some big mistakes he's actually big enough to admit when he's wrong...eventually.

He helps a lot more then he hurts.

I don't know who max Blumenthal is but apparently Shapiro thinks he's no good, I don't think it's wrong to tell an ally not to shill for someone you think is bad news just because they said one good thing.

That said...he has her freaking number! She was absolutely right to say a quick text would have addressed this issue better then doing this in public.

Gateway Pundit is 90% editorials and 10% news. Very little of their news comes from original research but comes in from readers or cultivated sources.

Which is fine, great even as long as you get the context. I wouldn't call it a general news source. It won't tell you the weather or about unrest in Bali or wherever for instance. The best conservatives have for that is ONN, NTD, or Newsmax.

Breitbart is trying to be everything all at once and therefore isn't excelling at any of it. Why are they putting out movies? Get a freaking weatherman we can trust that doesn't compare everything to global warming. Get a desk in different regions of the country to talk about local issues. We I hate that I still have to go to the fox website to get news that isn't politics related

I'm actually in favor of this, especially in low speed city centers. Jaywalking was never a crime until the big automakers lobbied to make it so in the 20's and 30's.

Failure to give right away to vehicles is still a crime but if there isn't a car coming then there is no reason why you have to go out of your way to cross an empty street.

I think a logical approach would be to decriminalize it wherever the speed limit is at or below 25mph

I'm a black conservative so yeah...I don't have any of that either.
