I just bought wood for raised beds. 2x12x8s were $35 each.

I've seen OSB for $95 in some areas.

A few years later I moved into my grandparent's 1930s farmhouse and had a 50 Mbps cable connection. When I got married in 2014 we moved to an area where dial up or cellular is the only option. We're currently on the waiting list for Starlink. Meanwhile, I manage ITC for my company and have to remote in with a mobile data plan.

It was a simpler time. Ask Jeeves, Napster, Winamp, etc. I miss my old Gateway 2000 with Windows 98 and a dial up connection at a blazing 14.4kbps.

That and the dude has every excuse to bail. His wife being partially paralyzed, lids on the way, the prospect of heart surgery, etc.

This might be heresy, but you kinda just described Trump.

I didn't want to link to the HuffPo article, but they were already improving the lunch program when that fruit from England arrived. They also did some very deceptive editing for the show to pump up the drama. The only thing I don't care for are their chicken patties and nuggets because they have a vegetable fiber filler and added vitamins. It's like chicken with sawdust.

Edit: Also, the kitchen he set up downtown in Huntington is still there. It's now run by the Marshall University Dietetics program. They have some pretty fun cooking classes like "Date Night in The Kitchen", etc. Now they also offer online sessions too.

We live further up the Ohio River in near a dam named after a white supremacist.

My wife is a teacher. Her county has totally free lunches for all students thanks to a tax levy a few years ago. For the "virtual" students, they offer a lunch pickup option. Since many parents don't pick it up, they send the extra home with the teachers. I have basically been eating school breakfast and lunch since September. Their meal program has improved over the last decade.

The words are related in the sense that "insurgent" can mean a rising rebellion, but we don't exactly have illegals working to overthrow our governme...... Never mind. She's right on the definitions. They are insurgents.

I just read "The First American: The Life and Times of Benjamin Franklin" by H.W. Brands. It was pretty good.

A rebellion is always legal in the first person, such as "our rebellion." It is only in the third person - "their rebellion" - that it becomes illegal.

Wait. She's implying that the words "surge" and "insurgent" are related in the sense of illegal immigration? Someone get her a dictionary.
