One thing that jumps out at me in that report is the fact that George Floyd had Sickle Cell trait. That alone could have caused his death.
Everyone thinks that people who are heterozygous for Sickle Cell are asymptomatic (that is, they have one Sickle gene, and one normal gene), and that's usually true... EXCEPT under conditions of extreme exertion. Under those conditions, or under conditions of marked hypoxia, a person with Sickle Trait actually CAN sickle.
This is well-known... in fact, it's one of the causes of sudden death during training in African American military recruits.
