There’s no “fixing” a compromised machine. You have to reload the firmware on up. Reformat every drive after booting from secure physical (read-only) media. Then start reinstalling every OS on every server in every agency that used SW

- Injecting stories in people’s feeds has no affect on them. Which means advertising on FB is useless and every advertiser should sue.
- Injecting stories in people’s feeds profoundly affects their outlook on the world. Which means FB made billions in undeclared, in-kind contributions.
A conflict between cop and perp that ends with the perp dead happens about once a week somewhere in the US. This one wasn’t extraordinary.
Basically, the folks who wanted the riots just had to pick an incident to scream about in the media. The fact it was Floyd is purely random... the riggers behind this just used his death opportunistically when they needed riots
Blows my mind that they’d have honest-to-god spies as “analysts”. People who have managed programs to destabilize governments. That’s not even a hypothetical! They’re on the record about it with Ukraine!
