I know. However, it only goes to the House if a majority isn't reached. For a majority to not be reached, the objection must stand. The objection is not spelled out in the 12th. For the objection to stand, according to this, both houses must object by vote. The objection vote is not 1 vote per State. The "per State" is only if a majority isn't reached.
