I actually feel bad for him. Honestly, all I see in this rant of Hunter's is the result of years and years of unstable family life coming to a head. I don't see any remorse or regret in anything written here, meaning he is legitimately clueless and confused as to what normal appropriate behavior should be.
To be clear though, my feeling bad for him does not mean that I think he shouldn't absolutely pay for his crimes. The law would have no sympathy for anyone in my family's situations, nor should they for Hunter's.
