Trump isn't a politician and doesn't know how to play the game like the best of them. His behavior makes a lot more sense when you consider that the entire DC establishment spent 4 years legally terrorizing him and his associates and are now actively jailing his supporters. I think another aspect to this is that people don't often react the way you would think they do in a situation like that. The default of modern people seems not to react as people are pretty desensitized by television. They will often just stand around not really showing the appropriate reaction because there's no pathway in their brain for it. I've seen it first hand in emergency situations. I agree with everything else you said and I sometimes wonder if Jan 06 wasn't a setup. "Let's hope we can delay this until they stop caring". This is absolutely their plan.

I'm a woman and I agree with you. First of all, men had to vote to give women the right to vote, so it's really you guys' fault, but let's move on. I'm an extremely technical and logical ("male-brained") woman. Most women aren't, and we've seen where that's got us. The problem with our society, related to women like me, is that we now have almost no impetus to get married and have kids. We're already more fulfilled doing "male" tasks, so ... why adopt a nurturing role, which isn't one I've ever been particularly comfortable with? The result: the "smart woman" genes aren't passed on. I'm sure you've heard this before, "The people who shouldn't have kids, are having too many kids. The people who should be having kids, aren't."
I agree with you on so many points but I don't think we should ever lose hope. Poland was under Communist occupation for something like 50 years and they're now one of the most based and free countries. Hungary same thing and in the distant past, parts of Hungary were under Muslim occupation for over 1,000 years.
