I sure hope not, but I had a feeling as much too. This was meant to get her pity so she wouldn't be removed even if it goes forward to collection. Fewer people may sign because of this, but I REALLY hope I'm wrong on that. It was also so she would be able to get more pity-compliance with her illegal orders she'll hand down through other means.
Pupil dilation because of meds?
So get them all out of office NOW and let their Deputy Governors, or whoever is next in line, take over and reopen IMMEDIATELY. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Remove these people, prep treason trials, and be done with it. People shouldn't be locked down and waiting for their lives back the entire time while the DOJ determines if these people even need a trial.
This link below is what I have saved from earlier. In the article it gives directions on how to find the video of the meeting where they said this too (I guess it's hard to find).
No idea how to make the link shorter without using tinyurl and I know some people get finniky with those. Sorry for the brick of letters.

Probably out of a little desperation since she lost in the Michigan supreme court over all her China Virus bs. Probably wanted to stoke anti-Trump sentiment and get a bit of victim pity from people.
That's actually a really good point. I've heard about that once or twice back in high school (2002-2006) about other countries, but it never made sense to me. I guess I sort of just forgot about that over time. Now it makes 100% sense and all the disgust with both those establishments right now should seem much less tinfoilhat-y to outsiders. Going to use that one in conversation now even.
That's basically the same drift I'm getting too, is colleges won't see reason before Spring (which is my point of no return where I have to give up on my degree if they don't open) or even the next year. I'm not in my early twenties anymore and I can't just sit around waiting for them to grow a pair. I keep trying to gaslight myself into thinking I'm the only one that thinks colleges won't open up after the election. I really don't have much else. I'd LOVE for an EO forcing things open again, but I know Trump isn't the tyrant the Dems say he is and that's what it would take.
Texas A&M was the one I was originally interested in because their undergrad program ranked really well for econ, but they were also one of the ones that did the website post about mandatory masks when I was looking. I probably judged them wrong because of that, but to me anybody pushing masks is a lib, so it's hard to distinguish friend from foe.
Texas was one place I was looking at moving to originally when this all obviously wasn't going away. I had gotten desperate for a while and researched different states and universities. That's when I found out exactly HOW MANY of those places are run not just by libs, but the virtue signaling asshole libs. They all had mask rules, distancing requirements, hybrid classes, and all that.
I was hoping all the stereotypes of Texas were founded at least in part by some fact. I found that the good parts of the stereotypes are mostly the rural areas. I looked up universities with the best econ programs in Texas and I only wound up with lib shitholes that released mask requirement email announcements talking about how important it is to protect everyone else. One was in Austin, so that one wasn't much of a shock.
Do you happen to know if ANY of the schools in Texas have regained sanity? Or are they all too far gone? I was looking at getting my doctorates degree in economics before all this started, so I can't just self-teach or "homeschool" the undergrad degree if I understand the system right.
Happy is the last word I'd use to describe a single feeling I've had this year since lockdown.
I finally had my life on track. I had a major I was passionate about and good at. I had a 5 year and 10 year plan for the first time in my life. I had started moving past abuse I grew up with. I was wondering if having a family was in the cards. I JUST got accepted to MSU the week before MSU's first possible case of the virus. I've spent more time since lockdown started wondering if I'd be better off just giving up. All my progress has not only been halted, but a significant amount has been reversed. I'm too old to sit around waiting for class to go back to normal and I don't want to spend the rest of my life as poor white trash just like my mom was.
Looking at the suicide numbers in my state, I'm going to have to say that a significant amount of us are NOT happy with what's being done to us.
We've been trying to do recall after recall. Even if the current one goes through with enough signatures from voters, we have to wait for the spring vote to be able to get her out.
I don't know about anything to do with the senate or house options, I've been focusing on what I can do.
I want her gone before that. I want to go back to class in the spring. NO MASKS. NO DISTANCING. NO VACCINATIONS. I was SUPPOSED to transfer this Fall, but everything is online. I'm too damn old to wait another year to finish my degree and try to get into grad school (it's all now or never). My future depends on this. I want the state to go back to normal. We can't do that with WHitler still in office in ANY capacity.
Michigander here. I live near the capital. MSU and LCC right next to each other makes for a huge population of brainwashed students. I'm 32 and I WAS going back to college (until WHitler and the lib administration of both colleges forced all classes online) and it was shocking to me the differences between college in 2006-2007 and college now. Nobody learns HOW to think, just WHAT to think.
Students are not taught personal responsibility. My sociology class taught that if a woman goes to get botox done, it's the fault of society because they pressured her to do so. My history class openly promoted socialism and focused on oppression of non-whites. My "American Culture" class said American culture is literally nothing but oppression of non-whites as well. The propaganda that is pushed is sickening. It's a COMPETITION between the students to see who can be more anti-America. The more a student plays the victim card, the more they're rewarded by faculty too.
I had a friend that worked with me in the tutoring center of my community college who is half Korean and half white. He shared some of what it was like being him and that mix. It was probably the most honest discussions about race I've ever had. He used facts and reason to back up his claims, not victim complex and emotion. He also discussed freely with friends (myself and at least one other guy) about the discrimination against asians each time we had to deal with something like a work "training" session that promoted "inclusion" services. He would always whisper to me or text under the table at me with statements like "inclusion only if you're black. If I asked about asians, she would dodge the question or find a way to say no." Basically any way a person can be discriminated against, asians have been and they've known basically the entire time.
So this specifies Yale, but what about ALL the other universities too? This is what they all do. Admissions, scholarships, everything is designed to FAVOR "minorities."
This part really upsets me. About a day or two before Whitmer announced her mask mandate (mid summer-ish), Michigan State University sent an email out saying they expected all staff and students to take responsibility for other people's health and wear a mask at all times. Then the week before, or the week of, Fall classes they announce all classes would be 100% online anyway.
MSU's mascot? Spartan. Yet the university is run by moronic cowards.
Dems and the covidians won't even talk about the suicide rates etc. If they were to talk about them, it might become obvious they view the deaths and destroyed lives as a victory.
I'm right with you man. I'm surprised and rather disappointed this hadn't happened earlier. Stretchen Gretchen needs to go.
My thoughts too. This is the first I've heard of any of this and I wish they would have succeeded.
Excellent!! I love it!!
I'm amused at all the masks being worn but they're all still holding hands without gloves. Masks are only about control.
But everybody should forget about "court packing" and don't define what THAT is!!
Hit list for antifa.
JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION! WILL YOU PACK THE COURTS?! Argh. Yes. Or. No.
Might be part of new measures to prevent the site from crashing. I was wondering too and I think that's why.
I'm pretty disconnected from all of this because there has been so many recall efforts. Where do I go to get one of these petitions? I had used the unlockmichigan site before, but I haven't heard anything from them (and I do check my spam folder).
