We really need to break this dumb idea that rights are things you are given. It is patently incorrect. Rights are simply things that cannot be denied to you by the State. It is up to you to secure them for yourself, whether by your own hands or the value of your labors or ideas as paid for by others in equitable trade. Anyone can get healthcare, regardless of other factors. No hospital is going to turn away a patient that can pay for their services, even if nothing is wrong with them and they do not need the physician's care. Healthcare is already an unenumerated right, and it pretty much always has been in the modern era. Just as I must buy the product of the gunsmith and the cartridge maker to bear modern arms, so too must I purchase the labor of the physician. If I cannot afford to do so, or simply refuse, then I am at the mercy of disease just as surely as someone who cannot afford or refuses to bear arms is at the mercy of the brigand or the tyrant.
