The meaning of the national anthem is that regardless of the strife and and attacks the fort weathered, the men defending it could see that flag, and know that they were still able to fight on. After all, it symbolizes this country, and it stood tall behind them. But when i look around me, all i see sometimes is flags at half mast.
Regardless of what the rules are on this, I can't help but feel they are being exploited or neglected, or are just wrong. Therefore, it is time to stop.
