I guess it depends where you're from, yeah the options and benefits (VA loan, school, retirement) are awesome perks, but believe it or not people still do join for a sense of duty and love for their country. Although I am biased being in an all volunteer part of the military, I can see that drawing a different sort of person.

You should be proud! Raising kids, making the house a home absolutely shouldn't be looked down upon as being oppressed. This is what pisses me off about saying both genders are exactly the same, it devalues the nature and nurturing spirit of women while trying to force both parents to work to afford a middle class life. Ignoring traditional gender roles is stupid, as the man in my house I bust my ass to provide for and protect my family, and I'm blessed to have the peace of mind knowing my children are well taken care of by my wife, home cooked meals for dinner and a lunch packed for the next day. Works for us but to each their own.
I feel like it was a dirty mind fuck to tell women their place isn't in the home raising kids, but in the workplace. Who benefits from that arrangement? We literally doubled our workforce, raising competition and lowering pay. Same thing for voting, the man of the house used to vote for his whole house, keeping the issues focused on a strong nuclear family and politicians had to run on policies that benefitted the family. Now politicians run on how much free shit we can give those who are higher on the "oppressed ladder" I had chills run down my spine when EVERY SINGLE DEM CANDIDATE raised their hand for being in favor of giving illegal aliens free Healthcare, while we still have veterans living in the streets. Fuck these people, it's time to right the ship.
People should not be afraid of their government, the government should be afraid of it's people. What was the turning point in US history when politicians tried to sell our country out for a comfy life of luxury?
It's very hard to describe the feeling I get looking at these pictures. Conservatives by our very nature want to be left alone, raise our kids, provide for our families and expect our government to play by the rules set forth at the birth of our great country.
Over the last year our rights have been stripped away, normal healthy people have lost their life savings, their businesses and lastly our confidence that the only thing we had left: our vote, even mattered.
