First off, this is an insult to Jesus Christ and His Sacred Heart, as well as an insult to St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, for whom the school is named. No child should be bullied at school, and still less by a teacher.
Mother Duchesne was known for her kindliness to all kids, as well as her strong stand against all injustice. She did not tolerate bad behavior, even from street kids who didn't know better; she taught them and got kids to change for the better. Her primary vocation was for education. Even though she prayed and fasted tons, she often asked her classroom kids to pray for things she needed from God.
Mother Duchesne lived through the French Revolution and had to help rebuild the Church in France, long before she came to the United States to help Catholics and act as a missionary on the frontier's edge, in Missouri.
We should pray for justice for this young woman, and for Jesus to convert these "teachers" back to Him.

A lot of kids are learning nothing worthwhile in school. This one guy heard something odd from his fourth grader, started questioning her, and found out that she knew almost nothing about history or geography. She didn't know about the existence of, say, the ancient Greeks. All she knew about the ancient Romans was that they were the rulers in Jesus' time, and she'd learned that at church.
When I was in fourth grade, I already had a general world history and US history timeline in my head, and we were doing geography, memorizing state capitals, and basic American history in school. (That's when I did my Leif Erikson explorer report. Alas, I could not include Vinland Saga because the Internet was not available to me.) We got basic world history and Catholic church history in 5th grade. (It was a parochial school.)
My school was not exactly high in academic rigor, folks. We need to do better for kids than my education, but we definitely need better than that girl's non-education.

There are dogs with YouTube channels that have better ratings than CNN.
It's not so much that the illegals live like kings here (they usually live like people in prison, like living a zillion to an apartment and sleeping in shifts), but that they can send money home to their family, so that their family can live well in their home country.
Now, sometimes people can stay here a long time with their family, and start to live a somewhat normal life here, and then that's almost certainly better than their home countries. But that doesn't seem to happen much today; it's more what happened twenty years ago.

The kids sit around while the teacher lectures, and then the teacher tries to ask questions to find out if kids are getting it. If one kid isn't getting it, everybody else has to sit and wait for it to be explained.
Then somebody has to go to the bathroom, and somebody else is kicking the kid in front of him, and somebody else is trying to steal or sneak something, and.....
A lot of time is wasted because kids are bored and restless, and because they can't just move ahead with their own work while others are catching up. And nobody can move onto another subject until the current subject is done.
And so on.
Even in the little red schoolhouse, kids were allowed and encouraged to work at their own pace and to get ahead in their good subjects.
