Also Jewish: Milton Friedman, Ayn Rand, etc.

You can come in, but you have to come in legally.

Wikipedia says 65% of American Jews are reform or unaffiliated. I would assume they vote however everyone else in there socioeconomic bubble votes, and that being Jewish is no factor. If they're young and live in blue cities then they probably vote blue.

The other 35% probably lean heavily Trump. Orthodox Jews support Trump at higher rates than white men (conservative are probably somewhere between them and the population at large): https://www.timesofisrael.com/orthodox-jews-back-trump-by-massive-margin-poll-finds/ And remember that Orthodox doesn't just mean ultra-orthodox, it includes modern Orthodox (who dress normally etc.).

It depends a lot how you define "Jew". Plenty of people claim to be Jewish but grew up with a Christmas tree (e.g. one parent is Jewish - and if their dad is Jewish but not their mom, they're not actually Jewish) or are just totally unaffiliated. Sure, they vote blue, because they all live in blue areas and for the most part they don't care about Israel. Trump wasn't supporting Israel for their votes, or if he was, it was a bad plan. But the affiliated Jews, the ones who have family in Israel and travel to Israel, or who donate to/volunteer for AIPAC, who grew up going to Jewish schools, etc. - overwhelmingly supported Trump.

Not sure where 2/3 came from, but agreed it's not about being Jewish or not. The affiliated Jews who care about Israel mostly supported Trump, and the unaffiliated Jews who live in blue areas mostly didn't.

Well sure, "two Jews three opinions" is the saying. And if you think the left is nuts here, you should see the left in Israel. But the vast majority of observant/practicing Jews are Zionist.

Thanks! I have friends there, don't love the humidity though. Thinking about Dallas...I think there's a small community there.

A LOT of Jews voted for Trump and are as upset as anyone about the outcome. I don't mean the people with a Jewish dad and a Christmas tree - they basically have nothing to do with Israel and don't care about it and aren't even actually Jewish - but actual practicing Jews. But most of them live in blue cities so they can't safely talk about it but they love Trump.

Wrong - there are lots of very American orthodox Jews like Shmuley Boteach.

Pence cucked when it came to using his full authority, but he was going along with Cruz's plan and hearing objections.

And it may well have worked.

It couldn't have worked because the Dems have the majority in the House.

He's saying he can't decide to throw it back to the states (and that he isn't going to do so).

Patriots vs traitors yes, but with millions of low-information normies in the middle. The with us or against us mentality doesn't account for them. TDW is big and growing, but plenty of people still don't even know about Jan 6th.

I don't like fake news either, but this kind of comment is harmful to TDW (and arguably violates the "don't be dumb" rule in the sidebar).

Orthodox Jews love Trump. Plenty of Trump yarmulkes in Long Island!

He appointed federal judges right? And isn't it state judges that are refusing to hear anything?

Studies have shown that the vast majority of decks of cards are not fraudulent - so even asking about fraud makes you a conspiracy theorist.

there isn't a single Jewish person on the planet who will support policies that threaten the continued existence of "the Jews" as a people

You think the left is bad in the US, you should see them in Israel...
