Wanna know the great irony of that?

2018 the GOP did 50% better than their normal midterm. 50M vs the 40M they got in 2018. There WAS a large surge in GOP voters in 2018. No one remembers it because the Democrats had their 60M 4 year electorate.

People always want to say that Republican turnout in 2018 was low and the nation was turning on Trump and the nation is shifting left, etc...

...but the GOP had 10M more votes and 50% more turnout than a normal mid-term.

Not exactly a damning indictment, imo

Gosh I hope so.

I go back and forth between being nervous about this one and thinking Trump's going to win in a blowout.

All the cards are stacked against it, and the left's hand is on the table. They're leaving nothing on the field. But neither is the Right.

Now we see who's stronger and hope to God the eternal fence-sitters get this right...

Yes, Beto...

...who had more funding than any Senate candidate in history in a year Democrats funneled a large portion of their ENTIRE NATIONWIDE FUNDRAISING APPARATUS to ONE candidate, who personally traveled to EVERY county in the entire state, was given EVERY piece of positive media coverage he could have asked for, and was up against a relatively unpopular incumbent in a year that the nation trended +7D...

...still lost by 2.5%

AND, in the SAME ELECTION YEAR that the Republican Governor - the other statewide race - won by a decisive 13.3%

So tell me, how does that indicate the state is on the verge of turning Blue to any rational person?

Unless the Democrats are going to routinely get D+7 years while having candidates that shake hands in every single county in the state while also funneling the massive majority of their nationwide fundraising to him while also giving him all the positive press a candidate could ever ask for while also having an unpopular opposition candidate from now on..?

...and STILL lose by 2.5%?

Texas may be trending Purple, but that doesn't really speak of it turning Blue. A 13% victory for the other statewide race doesn't really seem like a breath away from turning Blue to me.

While things can turn fast, especially with Democrats trying to win by hook or by crook, I believe they VASTLY overstate their position.

It's like the other article I posted from the Federalist here: https://thedonald.win/p/FzPG8PYr/there-really-are-only-two-sides-/

They won't think you're not a racist/fascist if you don't stand up. They'll still think you are one. They'll just think you're a spineless one.

Have you heard of JohnMarkSays/Mark My Words on YouTube/Twitter or Proprietarianism?

I'm not saying it's going to work...but I think there's an awakening to this truth you speak of...

This picture is so great. :)

Honestly?

This is probably one of his most "Human" and "Presidential" pictures. Looks very much like a lot of pictures of Regan. And anyone who has ever worked a day in their life knows that feeling. And anyone who has or is a father knows that feeling.

Maybe that's the problem: Whoever thought it was an insult hasn't ever worked a day in their life and isn't/didn't have a father figure?

I'm starting to wonder if those "John Mark Says" videos on YouTube are...more correct than I've been giving them credit for...

The amount of media people astonished by this is mind boggling to me.

I get they think they're awesome, but they HAVE to know a LOT of people are pissed at them. They went to what the guying making the video himself called a "right-wing" rally in his final report using that video!

What did they expect? A welcome mat?

...well, probably...but still! They should see by now that people who don't live in NY-DC or LA REALLY don't like them. This shouldn't be a SURPRISE.

Not really sure. I wasn't looking too closely at the time stamps in the video (of the Tweets, etc that she references.)

Nope, this is literally knitting groups.

Apparently, after 2016, knitting hobby/share/picture/etc groups - like everything ELSE - became politicized with SJWs moving in and bulling, attacking, "calling out", shunning, and so on anyone who was pro-Trump, not anti-Trump, or not SUFFICIENTLY anti-Trump, as well as anyone they could label, in any way, from the "Basket of Deplorables" (sexist, racist, etc etc - you know the drill.)

So the "Knitting War" is another front in the overall culture war/meme war.

Apparently, someone liked a picture of green socks and this person - a SJW - was bullied by the other SJWs over it (because they stalk EACH OTHER to keep EACH OTHER "in line", apparently; it's not just the right they attack) - and then the non-SJWs made a joke about green socks being racist, making fun of the SJWs...and some of them actually started worrying that, like the 4chan OK sign, some people might actually take it seriously and decide that green socks WERE racist.

...and, apparently, it became a thing. XD

This is insane. I can't find any sort of precedent or statute he's basing this power on, and no one's been able to point to one yet. Even legal forums seem to be stumped at the moment as to if this is even...legal.

While I largely agree...

...note that Democrats are ABSOLUTELY DETERMINED that he recuse himself or to discredit him in any way they can. I don't know if this means he's going to do anything...but they seem to be terrified he will.

I just made my first ever political donation a couple hours ago, yes, to President Trump's campaign.

Never donated to a campaign before in my life. And I'm pretty much going to make my first ever party line vote in 2020. Democrats voted party line to upend our republic and vote against the will of the people, so I will vote party line against them.

...and then I saw a link to hear from The_Donald...and so I registered here, since I suspect that Reddit will try to sway the 2020 election by silencing voices there (I read the timeline post on the top with all the history of what Reddit's done to TD with the timeline)

A night of firsts...

But all I can say is, I'm generally an easy going guy. If I'M this mad, I have to imagine/hope that the rest of America is, too. Hoping there's a landslide GOP in 2020. If the Democrats are allowed to do this and it stand uncontested...it will be the end of the nation, I fear...they HAVE to be stopped.
