Nothing should take priority over raising your children. We homeschooled our 7 children, living in a 2 bedroom mobile home on a single hourly-pay income & occasional side job. We had the best life ever. Spending every minute with our children. Now, they are grown & wildly successful. And all of my grandchildren are homeschooled.

If you want to, it is possible.

He is not lying:

Cancun had 337 homicides in 2021, with a homicide rate of 36.81 per 100,000 people.

Saint Louis had 263 homicides in 2020, with a homicide rate of 87 per 100,000 people.

New Orleans had 201 homicides in 2020, with a homicide rate of 52 per 100,000 people.

Not even 434. How many of them hold dual citizenship? I don't consider those Americans.

instructing only your child and being supervised by a certificated person (i.e., the certificated person and the parent together plan the educational objectives; the certificated person has a minimum average of one contact hour per week with the child; and the certificated person evaluates the child’s progress);

Furthermore, prior to 1983, homeschooling was illegal in 45 states. There were zero support groups. Like all homeschoolersbat that time, we had the HSLDA lawyer's cell phone number taped to our front door and lived with the constant threat of CPS showing up to take our children.

It's a life choice. Maybe it's not your priority. But don't use inconvenience as an excuse.

The way I see it, if your kids are in public school, you, parent, are no friend of Liberty.

From 2011-2015 the retail price of diesel was above $4.00. It's impossible to understand the current if you don't put it in historical perspective.

To be expected. The USD was diluted by 40% over covid, therefore the cost of everything increased by 40%.

SVB has nothing to do with hedge fund managers. Do you know what a fund manager is?

Lol. Your "street intelligence" is from watching CNN. Now tell me about all of your travels & experience in Central America.

My personal, on-the-ground observations carry far more weight that any sensationalized media piece.

Here are the facts:

Cancun had 337 homicides in 2021, with a homicide rate of 36.81 per 100,000 people.

Saint Louis had 263 homicides in 2020, with a homicide rate of 87 per 100,000 people.

New Orleans had 201 homicides in 2020, with a homicide rate of 52 per 100,000 people.

Not excuses, just perspective. "That same thing happens every day" in the US as well. All of the US is not Chicago's South side. All of Mexico is not Ciudad Victoria.

Discussing dangerous events in the US in the context of discussing dangerous situations globally, is certainly not "whataboutism". Your inability to recognize that, is ignorance.

Mexico is still (by far) the number one springbreak destination.

Florida springbreak "blew up" (utterly ruined) because the joggers discovered vacationing with their stimmy checks. Same with Vegas. Ruined. Disgusting.

Mexico vacation areas have continued to be nice. Actually improving.

I recently read that South Padre Island is growing in Springbreak popularity, but I've personally not been yet.

Stats say whatever you want them to say.

We've been going to the Riviera Maya region (Cancun, Play del Carmen, Tulum) & Puerto Vallarta several times a year for many years. They are safer than most US cities.
