This is why I came to love learning human languages. You can go to some exotic country and say the equivalent of "Food very good is. Very much thank to you" with a terrible accent, and the locals will smile and appreciate that you're trying.

Reddit used to display both upvotes and downvotes, so you could see which posts had a lot of engagement -- +30 and -31 would display as -1 today, so you would think it got only a tiny bit of negative attention.
Really if you've got to have voting at all, I'd like to see only upvotes counted. As it is people are afraid to "spend" karma by saying something that the hive mind doesn't like -- which is of course the purpose of the downvoting system to begin with.

He's speaking Mandarin, but if you can convert simplified characters you can read the subtitles in Cantonese and it will still mostly make sense. I don't understand it well enough to tell what kind of Mandarin he speaks.
As a beginner in Chinese I am laughing my head off at how the "lo" and "si" in Pelosi's name are written with the characters for "fall" 落 and "West" 西. I know they were chosen phonetically but they're so perfect!
(Edit: I see the subtitler is also using 洛 "city" and 羅 [some kind of fabric] some of the time. I guess Pelosi is not important enough to have an established Chinese name. As it should be!)
