In the big picture this doesn’t matter, because one of the big problems we have is that Republicans prefer being out of power which puts them in a position to criticize Democrats, whereas Democrats prefer to be in power even with criticism. Until that’s fixed, we’ll continue to lose our country.

At a bare minimum this, coupled with the Afghanistan debacle, represents an absolute loss of confidence in his ability to lead, so his immediate resignation should follow anyway. If he does that he might at least be able to retain his tank and pension (not that either would be deserved).
