Unfortunately, your curriculum is the main problem and your hands are tied there. My brother-in-law worked for common core in NY and was fired for being conservative. They didn't even hide the reason or sugar coat it.
I work for one of the largest, global technology companies in the world. Voluntarily sat through the propaganda session last week so that my name would show up on the attendee's list...thank goodness for mute and multiple monitors. Watching the chat comments made me sick...if it were any other kind of meeting, the comments would've resulted in firings.
