Very slow going because the depth of the traffickers depravity is often boundless. Huge forfeitures. Millions of dollars. One case on going now for two + years and involves huge amounts of properties/assets.
The victims often dont know/wont recognize they are victims. Theyre lured in young and kept hooked on drugs. Lots of psychological torture.
A suburb PD here went to a noise complaint at a local hotel and found a girl (17) from PA. Her escort ad was found online. She’d been working that hotel for a week seeing dozens of clients a day.
