Growing up in a pretty big hockey town, I played almost every day of my childhood. There were a few black kids in my neighborhood who would play with us but EVEN THEY would get shit from other black kids for playing hockey with us.
"Yo E, why you playin that white ass shit with them, get over here and play bball with us"... That's just one I remember from 30 years ago...
In school, if our gym class had hockey for the day, most of the black kids would go into a corner and shoot hoops, or just sit on the bleachers...
Now I could care less what sport anyone is into but, it's clear to me that most black people CANNOT STAND hockey and therefore don't play it.
Don't blame the NHL or white people for a lack of interest in hockey from the black community.
Edit: I've also had conversations with black co-workers who confirm, they just can't get into it...

I'm convinced any fuckery they play is only to save face. If they get blown out at the polls like in 84 it'd be a huge awakening for alot of their people and they don't want that... again.

Our votes are still important but like 84 this election should be a blow out. Again IMO any fuckery is just so they can "keep it close" and continue a narrative. If we really turn out this year there's no way they can hide the #s! They can fluff them all they want, a huge turnout will literally "trump" anything they try!
