The only reason my ancestors were allowed to come here was because the union needed warm bodies to fight the south. It could easily happen again and, unlike then, none of the cultures with large numbers of military age males ready for export place much value on innocent life. We’d still probably win, but it would be pretty fucking brutal.
I have zero confidence that the dems will make their combatants abide by the same ROE that we had to in Afghanistan or Iraq. That’s the thought that keeps me up at night.

I always thought it was funny that he obsessed over DJT’s grandfather or whatever changing his name from Drumpf to Trump (lots of central, southern, and eastern Europeans changed their names back in the day because they faced actual discrimination) but never seemed to have a problem with Jon Stewart changing his own last name in his 30s.
Also, common misconception: ‘Robust Safeguards’ is my name and it’s my personal job to ensure the integrity of the election. It in no way describes an election system where people get unsolicited voter registration cards at what might be their address, voter ID is racist, and unlike every other developed western country, we use voting machines with baked-in malicious code.

If you fail, Georgia will basically turn into a southern version of NY or IL; one massive, impoverished and corrupt city along with a thin ring of prosperous suburbs full of shrieking Karens dictating policy to the rest of the state as the countryside’s population and economy crashes.
People will do just about anything for a pension... I’ve seen senior officers and NCOs do some pretty shady shit to get promoted so they can stay until the 20-year mark and from everything I’ve seen, cops and teachers are even worse... Pensions are literally all my relatives in education talk about.
