The difference is “your” enemies for your sake vs God’s enemies for His sake.
Psalm 139:20-22 King James Version
20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
21 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
We used to live in that area about 6 years ago and the creek in our neighborhood was just like that - even had appliances like a fridge dumped in it! We had crack heads living in tents in the backyard of the vacant house behind us conducting all kinds of uh, business. It was a disgrace. The only way we finally got something done was go to the local news station. Then the city acted like they were all over it. Of course just like the guy said - within days (literally) they are back at it. As a native Texan it’s just heartbreaking what the liberals are doing to that city.
I used to live in that area. It ain’t Seattle and those people aren’t messing around.
