Trump was never playing 4d Chess. He was playing tic tac toe and just realized he can never win.
This place will be a ghost town in 60 days. It takes different amounts of time for people to accept hard truth. But two months will probably be enough time for this place to become pretty vacant. People will move on.
Trump just went from the greatest president to literally the worst and weakest president of all time. He will go down in history as the last legally elected president, and when the challenge arose to defend America's most sacred and important institution - it's free and legitimate election - he failed.
I mean literally it is the president's only job to make sure the country remains free and democratic. He had the tools, the means, and the right to make the touch decision to do something to save this country, and he folded like a cheap Donald Trump tie.

I am not suggesting that nothing was happening, or putting people down for trying to do something. My issue was with the headline of this post - and many other posts on TDW.
When a headline says "Live! Storming the Capital Building" I expect to click on the live video feed and see people .... you know ... storming a building. Instead I saw people walking their dog with an American Flag bandana around the dogs neck.
The hyperbole is getting out of control.
Headline: "Patriot storming the capital building" Reality: People selling Pro-Trump t-shirts outside the capital building while a guy with a megaphone yells things.
Can anyone verify that data? I couldn't seem to find anything that stated how many total counties Biden won.
Does it concern anyone else that he didn't include any kind of declaration that we were still going to win? The messaging the last couple days seems to have turned from "We're going to win" to "We were cheated."

I have to admit, these suppression polls are starting to work on me. I am feeling very concerned about our chances of winning. The eye test tells me Trump in a landslide, but Trumps behavior seems to echo what the polls are saying.
I come here several times a day for a bit of confidence boost, but I am just very concerned that maybe we are expecting a second miracle.

Geography has a lot more to do with a persons voting preference than their religion. Catholics who live in liberal urban areas are more likely going to be liberal leaning. Catholics who live in more small town and rural conservative areas are going to be conservative leaning.
I am a catholic in Idaho, and not a week goes by that my priest doesn't speak out against socialism, communism, and the craziness of the left. Hell, just a couple weeks ago he talked about the evils of Saul Alinsky during his sermon.
Most people outside the Catholic Church don't understand that we to have our own internal battle going on between the conservative wing and liberal wing of our leadership. The internal politics going on at the Vatican between the Pope and conservative Cardinals/Bishops is as intriguing as any other political horse race going on anywhere else in the world right now.
The demographic trends of the Catholic church right now are trending HEAVY towards traditional conservatives. Vatican II steered the church to the left, but the overwhelming majority of young people in the church are moving it back to the right. If the trend continues, the Catholic Church will be solidly conservative in its leadership in the USA in the next twenty years.
As my priest routinely reminds us "There are no problems in the world that a few funerals can't solve."

This is the ONLY thing that matters. Nothing else will get solved until that is resolved. We have to stop pretending that we just have to wait 2 or 4 more years and "win back" seats or offices. Those days are done and are never coming back until something is done about it.
