They were exposed when Trump won in 2016, and every day since to anyone who's been paying attention. There is still a large enough base of people out there that would rather be told what to think/how to feel about current events/issues though, and that is their audience, that is who they cater to. That group includes people who look to celebs for political forming their political ideas, then turn to the mainstream news to reinforce those viewpoints. Lowest common denominators of our society.
100% I have voted libertarian since Ron Paul 2008. Trump has easily my first ever republican vote for 2020. Can't promise I will continue to vote that way after he is gone, but I am very happy to have him while he is here.

I have been on lists since I was 16 because of the research I was doing at the time for my backyard "energetic chemistry experiments". I know this because during that time, my dad had some hiccups in obtaining a certain security clearance for work and eventually it come back to us that it had to do with internet search history. This was long before TOR or any widespread use of VPNs, mind you.
So big brother knowing who I am and what I am about is a forgone thing, I am more worried about lawyers and such. Its sad that at a time with so much powerful information out our fingertips, comes equally powerful surveillance.
I did not realize owning a plate carrier was a requirement for membership. Do you have to have the plates to go along with it? Can you tell me more about the requirements/rules or just about the III% in general? I have considered joining several times over the years, but have shy-ed away each time. Maybe now is the right time though.
I have thought of joining the III% several times over the years. My views align with theirs pretty well, but I think I convinced myself each time to stay away for the fear of being put on a list or say I had to, for example, defend my family in a home invasion, the defense lawyer could use my affiliation with them as proof of me being a racist, or white supremacist, nazi, etc. They may say all those things about me regardless just because I am a conservative and a gun owner, but I didn't want to give them any additional fuel for their fake fire.
Do you guys think those concerns are legitimate? Are any of you members of the III%? Would you recommend joining? Interested in what you patriots have to say. TIA.

My thought was that the treatment was started far too late. HCQ is most effective when used early on, heck it can even be used as a prophylactic and some hospitals gave it to their staffs for that purpose. What it can't do though, is save someone who is already at deaths door, and I understand that was often the only people who were even given the option.
Oh they can dissent all their heart desires, they just can't do it while subsisting solely on the government teet. Riot, protest, march, do what ever, but don't expect to be able to go back to your section 8 housing after destroying property like we are all good with it.

Conservatives don't really protest. I think it comes down to two main factors: one, we are generally happy people and content with our lives we've worked hard to build. Two, we are preoccupied with our jobs, family's, and taking care of the things we worked hard for. In contrast, the left is generally angry and miserable to begin with, and those that protest don't have careers, families, or homes to worry about. That's my observation anyway, for whatever it is worth.
