What’s really tough for me to swallow is after they get a bad discharge it’s VERY difficult for drug pops to upgrade their discharge. Meanwhile, those discharged for worse reasons have a much easier time upgrading their discharge..
The military is not the bottom of the barrel. There are many federal positions that are paid less or treated worse.
But my point was that many federal positions are office workers and therefore drug use isn't a major concern. They will be drug tested if they get into an accident at work, or something like that which brings suspicion to drug use.
