There is no way in Hell this happened ... For the past 7 months people due to Covid people have been encouraged to stay in and vote by mail in ballot... and what you are trying to brew up is that all of a sudden 100's of thousanda of people who have never voted and did not care about voting all of a sudden just decided to show up in droves and register to vote ??? nah , maybe in a normal year that would fly as an excuse, there is no way THAT many people would do that THIS TIME ... but THIS TIME Dems NEEDED that many more voters... They waited till polls closed ballots were counted and the number needed outweighed the voters they actually have so 2 choices 1 lose or 2 cheat in such a way it seems ridiculous but try and quell with loose explanations ...
