Here it's all about Covid for the last 8 months. We just started our 2nd lockdown.
We have a conservative chancellor (Kurz) in a coalition with the leftist Green Party. Such coalitions basically mean that nothing fundamental gets solved. But that's the story of the EU overall: every problem is kicked down the road.
As you can see: I'm not happy with our state of politics here.
As a European (Austria) I second this.
The main difference between the US and the other western countries is this: Americans are mostly free whereas the freedoms for most people in the rest of the world are at the mercy of their respective governments. If Biden wins, then you will be just like Canada, Australia or any other European country.

Tulsi was the smartest and best articulate candidate during the Democratic primary. She never had a chance against the Clinton/Obama/Biden clan.
Trump could do worse than offering her a job in his 2nd term administration. She might decline but it would be an important gesture to reunite the reasonable people from across the aisle.
