It's crazy that democrats are willing to destroy their city to make Trump look bad so he's not re-elected. their hope is that Biden wins and subsidize their losses from the shutdown and destruction from the riots. Trump is allowing the democrat leaders to dig their own grave.
I've spent some time out on the water and when a boat has a leak, the first priority is to stop the leak. Once the breach is closed, we could pump and dump.
If we can stop all illegal immigration with the border wall, we can have a pathway for citizenship for DACA. As long as they're not allowed to vote anytime soon. Maybe if the adult DACA kids want to become citizens their illegal parent would have be deported.
I've been a Trump supporter since the day he came down the escalator, even when my republican friends bashed him, I stayed with him. After every tweet, interview, some media exchange when he said something politically incorrect, they'd say, "NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK OF TRUMP!!!"." I still support him". That continued after he was elected. Eventually, most of them got on the Trump Train and today they support him 100%.
There's just a very small minority of Trump bashers. I kind of have to bite my tongue and when they grip about some tweet, I remind them of our 1st amendment and it's better that we know exactly what Trump is thinking because he will tweet everything and we shouldn't stop that. What is interesting is that they have no intention to vote for Biden. They may not even vote.
agree with all of that. I am fortunate to be my own boss. I don't think I'll ever to be able to work for somebody else ever again. Been there done that.
For now, I try to buy American made. but that's very hard to do. I hope that changes soon
I don't care about FB. My GF convinced me to create a new account so she could tell all her GF friends that she was in a relationship and to post pics of us together. I haven't posted anything yet and I have no desire to do that.
I've never used Twitter because I listen to conservative talk radio and I hear Trumps tweet anyway. I can do just fine without Google because I use Duckduckgo, but I do like Google Maps. I just started using WAZE, but I am not sure of their political position, so I am at a loss their.
I'm happy to not use Amazon because I'd rather support my local community. It's not really a political reason. There's a local furniture store that manufactures most everything in my state an a lot of it in my city. So I like to support local jobs.
Not to be controversial, but IMO, it's very divisive to boycott business on the bases of their political position. I don't think it works long term to really change how they run their business. Both sides do it. At the same time, if the democrats want to boycott a business, I'll go out of my way to support that business.
I my county, there's a mandate that shop owners have to enforce and will be fined if customers and employees aren't wearing a mask. Also, mom and pop shops are struggling. If they were shut down before another shut down would put me out of business for good and in more debt that would take years to recover.
