The thing is our "constitution" aka "charter of rights and freedoms" and the way our government is set up, both on a provincial and federal level, is much different than the U.S's.
He will he challenging this in court and this will most likely go to the ontario Supreme Court with other small businesses, but unfortunately it is the way of our law. I don't agree with it, but our government at the time had thr powers to institute these temporary bans. Whether or not those powers within this context was constitutional will be up to the courts to conclude, I'm afraid.
