Weather your idea is faith in an omnipresent entity or faith in justice or "universal goodness" faith is very real and our world has been built with faith as the foundation to progress.
You also missed the point of what I was saying. I think you have a misunderstanding of how faith, generally, works. And I don't want to blame you. It's probably what you were taught or you weren't bothered to learn about it.
Not one leader, or founding father, exercised faith without action. Faith requires you to go out and get that which you are seeking. Otherwise, you can believe you'll be rich all day in your room and nothing will happen. Faith is believing that, if I put in my 100%, things will turn out how I want, or if not, better.
Faith without action is like breathing without air.

And yes I agree with you that they all have a weird hard on for IPAs and APAs. I don't like them either, but there are some gems out there. Try Godspeed's Yuzu Saisson. It's the smoothest least tart saisson that it shouldn't even be classified as one. It's awesome.
