In my neighborhood, somebody will put a piece of furniture (bookcase, table, office chair) in their front yard by the road with a "free to take" sign on it. People still knock on the front door every time and ask "is it really free? I can just take it? I won't get in trouble?"
And when you break it down by age, it gets much worse. Especially single and 18 to 35. Good lord, it's like 85% of them are liberals.
