I live in OKC and I haven’t met many people that think McVey’s motivations were wrong. Just his actions. Have had some very interesting conversations and have visited the memorial. Funny that the left will justify terrorists in Iraq, Nigeria, Iran, Afghanistan, etc, for “Americans bombing” them but are completely blind when it comes to their own government doing it to Americans. Unless it’s Bush/Cheney whom they called war criminals but now somehow ball wash em. There is no standard the left will hold, not line the sand they won’t re draw out of sheer convenience. We are fighting an ideological enemy that follows no ideology— to central tenants. Other than “right-wing” hate.
They enjoy their perks. They don’t want to rock the boat and fight, that would mean work. Republicans don’t actually want to lead the movement, they want to raise funds and provide platitudes to their donors without ever achieving an actual result. It’s failure theatre and they get VERY rich off of doing the. They put on a good show and we eat it up, get invested emotionally, monetarily; yet we never seem to make progress. This governor of Arkansas is a prime example. All talk and then it comes time to sign the bill... aaand he vetoes. Luckily that shit’s changing if ever so slowly. They overrode his veto because people like us are getting involved.
Remember: they call Bush a war criminal and now love him. Pence will be no different.
