Feather 100s are disposable safety razors. Way better and cheaper than plastic, cheap mass-manufactured disposable razors like Bic. Bic makes their own blades and it did well when I used it as a part of a sample kit.

Look into Mühle R41(open-comb) and R89(closed-comb.) They come in grande models which boast a heftier handle which in turn helps bigger men control the blade more or adversely “lets the weight of the handle shave,” which is the preferred method. Another good one would be the Viking Chieftain which makes -an excellent beginner handle.

Get an alum block or nipstick to help clot your bleeding. It’s bound to happen and in general it’s great for all the micro-cuts you don’t see.

Badger brush vs synthetic. I use synthetic. I see no problem with either but I still use an Art of Shaving(SJW company) handle that I received as a gift and it works fine. It have with pre-shave oil and aftershave oil, which were okay, but you’d get a better job, in my opinion, using coconut oil and the alum block and moisturizer, respectively. Or skipping the pre-shave oil all together and softening the skin before shaving.
