Had to renew my DL here in Ohio and had the same choice. I picked standard. No need for REAL ID. No to any new restrictions on any of my Freedoms. And that includes vaccines and or vaccination cards.
In Ohio here and I can't remember ever voting without having to show an ID. It seems so natural, prove who you are and you can cast your vote. It blew my mind when I realized that there were states where you did NOT have to show an ID. It seemed weird and almost as if you were inviting voter fraud. Such a basic concept.

Was Hugely surprised when I found out that Jim Jordan is MY congressman. By 90 feet. Thought it was Marcy Kaptur, but Ohio's districts are so gerrymandered that it is ridiculous. Live in Ohio. A significant number of people do not wear the 'Mandatory' mask when in buildings. General shopping I'd say about 25% no mask even though signs are on every door. Any public offices (bmv,doctors offices,post office etc,) it actually IS mandatory, they enforce it at the door. Any open spaces like parks or parking lots it drops to prob 10%. I have yet to see anybody give anyone else any shit over masks, either wearing or not wearing. The overall mood seems to be 'you do your thing' and 'I'll do mine'. Nobody other than schools and hospitals pay any attention to what 'Color Level' their particular county is rated at, it changes daily, nobody cares. Absolutely the ONLY thing the mask mandate has done is give the entire state a huge new reason to argue over Thanksgiving dinner. At least Dewine was smart enough to NOT put covid patients in nursing homes. Can't say much more to his credit than that though.
