I'm sure you are right about that but it still doesn't change the fact that there were no election observers there and they were told to go home because of a backed up toilet. Personally, by the looks of it, I think good ole Ruby was probably responsible for backing up the toilet too.
You beat me to it but I have lived in India for several years and I have to say that nothing can compare to seeing the pollution up close and personal. Western countries, in general, are spotless in comparison. This girl, AOC, needs a little real world experience before she starts telling the rest of us how to live and who's responsible.

I'm old enough to remember when the world was worried about the might of the CCCP military. I turned out it wasn't anywhere near as capable as the fear suggested. Are we looking at a similar situation now, with China?
I watched a military video that suggested that their aircraft carriers would last about 45 minutes to an hour in combat with one of ours. They originally bought their carriers from Russia. China's are smaller which means less aircraft and less variety of aircraft can be carried. They also rely on a ramp for launch. Ours have a steam assisted launch system. That means our jets can carry more fuel and ammunition. The Chinese planes have to carry lighter loads in order to make it off the deck. This means we have longer flight times and more weaponry. I assume our planes and pilot training is at least as good, if not better than theirs.
I agree and would even go one step further. In a country as wealthy as this one, why don't we have a purpose built facility specifically designed for counting ballots. It could be designed with cameras and specific areas for poll workers to be observed by poll watchers. I mean, we build different stadiums to watch baseball and football and hockey (I don't know anyone who gives a fuck about Basketball). So, why not have an election building.
