If you piece together all the photos from after the blast (particularly item 12 in the above-linked slideshow), and combine / compare / contrast those with both google maps street views & eyewitness videos, it quickly becomes apparent that the perpetrators parked INSIDE of the AT&T exchange building itself - right where you see the dumpster here:
For those who aren't familiar with just what these buildings are, pan the street view upwards to see the top of the building, and note the total lack of windows on floors 4 - 11: This is because (aside from VERY tight crawlspace), there really ARE no human-habitable spaces on these floors - they're literally JUST all network hardware, and the most important kind; internet-backbone-to-local-WAN-type interfaces / routers / switches & the like; OC192s that carry all the signal from the far-flung cellular towers & etc.
Moreover, note the vented section (with its own peculiar human-sized gate at the street level), running all the way up to the roof, just to the left of the dumpster / parking bay: My guess is that'd be one of those crawlspaces I'd mentioned - the place where people climb up ladders to unplug & plug in cords, in other words - as well is the primary passive exhaust for the hottest-running (read the most important / expensive) components. Look around at all the photos we're so far allowed to see of the facade of this one section of this building, and it's immediately obvious that this had been where most of the internal damage was - enough to have completely pulverized all of the brickwork you can see in the historical photos.
And so just to briefly summarize, if your AT&T cellular or internet is down, you can expect it to remain down for A While; weeks not days - at which the question becomes not so much the How or Why, but the By Whom, and To What End? ...I wouldn't go so far to say we're Through The Looking Glass here, yet - but it is starting to feel as though we're hurtling that way.
Actual far-right domestic terrorists, like Timothy McVeigh, don't issue warnings, and don't endeavor to spare any innocent civilians even remotely involved with what we'd now call the "Deep State" (not even children in a day care at a federal building) - and neither do they clearly target corporate assets, because they don't have any beef with Capitalism, writ large, nor anything to gain by doing so.
Whereas ANTIFA, by contrast, incessantly asserts they are "The Good Guys" (anti-"fascists," meaning Us), and become violently offended anytime that anybody deigns to argue otherwise, given the tactics that they use - and, as they themselves have stated, several times before, they have no issue whatsoever with destroying property to score what'd be a political point.
The bottom-line assessment from me being, here, that this had been intended as a message, and a threat, to the corporate non-publishers (AT&T, Verizon, etc) who still allow their hated foes to even still have iPhones, and/or Androids, or whatever - to even so much as communicate amongst ourselves, in other words.
That, and of course (obviously), an open, naked threat to conduct outright terrorist actions, and have their allies in the mainstream media paint them on us - which would be unwise for us to just blithely ignore
For context, I think that they believe they can’t replace an “old white guy” with “yet another old white guy” & have that mollify the left, nor can they sell the Biden pitch of “unity & healing” to the same.
